The challenge was to convert three existing APC (Armoured Personnel Carrier) into cutting-edge reconnaissance platforms. This task perfectly aligned with YTS unique blend of mechanical engineering proficiency, deep client understanding, and mastery of advanced technologies.
Despite the constraint of not being able to bring the vehicles to our own workshops, our agile team devised ingenious on-site engineering solutions. The final design incorporated two specialized masts – a 10-meter mast housing a 360° radar system and observation equipment, and an 18-meter mast equipped with state-of-the-art communication system.
To ensure complete self-sufficiency, we custom-engineered dedicated power solution including generator and a backup battery system, seamlessly integrating them into the APC. Inside, we built out robust operator stations with rugged military-grade displays and controls.
Upholding our uncompromising commitment to quality, we conducted rigorous off-road testing to validate that the final product met the client’s exacting standards. Moreover, our specialist instructors travelled to the customer’s location to provide comprehensive training on operating and maintaining the new reconnaissance system.
